Ownership: Ebbsfleet United are owned by the MyFootballClub Industrial & Provident Society (MyFootballClub, MyFC or simply "the Society" to you).
The members annual subscriptions help support the club financially.
Society Board: The members are represented by a Society Board of 7 members, who are elected prior to the Annual General Meeting. These people lead the Society, monitor the internal processes, set strategy, handle the confidential side of Club management and liaising with the Club staff. Any current member can stand for the Board.
Club Management Board: The Club have a management meeting, and the Society are represented here by 3 people - one is a Society Board member, one is elected specifically for that position by the Board, and another is elected specifically for that position by the Society members. They're responsible for ensuring that the day-to-day and urgent decisions at the club are dealt with in accordance with the general will of the Society, and brought to the members for a decision if practicable.
Member ideas: Any member can raise a proposal for activities at the Society or Club. Subject to initial approval from your fellow members, your idea will be thrashed out in the forums, before being presented as a formal proposal. If it's within the rules and operating procedures, and is otherwise generally ok, it will be put to the members and voted for.
Votes: The members of the Society vote on club management issues as they come available. These include player transfers, kit manufacturer, kit designs, budgets, advertising campaigns, ticket pricing, as well as Player of the Month and Player of the Year. Members also vote on issues about how the Society is run and organised. Cash drawdowns as required by the Club are also put to members vote.
Member involvement: There's lots of opportunity for local members to get involved in supporting the Society and Club, from helping out at the annual summer ground maintenance, leafleting campaigns, you can even represent the Club on matchdays at home or away!
Members worldwide can help by creating content, preparing artwork, analysing data, writing articles and promoting the club to family and friends.
There are also a number of support roles within the Society that are undertaken by members - preparing and formatting articles and votes, monitoring the forums, as well as supporting and developing the website.
